So, with this title, comes a question, can you watch Ring Doorbell on your TV? The answer to this question is Yes. You can watch your Ring Doorbell on your TV or any other TV. You can watch through a Fire TV Stick or a Fire TV. You can watch it on the select Samsung television as well.

Watching your security cameras and Ring Doorbell on TV is comfortable as well as convenient. You could be relaxing while watching TV and if the doorbell rings, you can simply ask, “Alexa, show the front door”. And you will get a live video on the TV. Also, you can get a doorbell and motion notification on your TV screen, if it’s Samsung Smart TV.

Connecting Ring Doorbell To Your Fire TV

You can easily connect your Fire TV with the Ring. Firstly, you’ve to connect your Amazon Alexa to the Ring camera through Ring Skill. The ring camera will be controlled through Amazon Alexa. In the Fire TV stick gadget and Fire Tv, Alexa is inbuilt.

You can complete the setup by either accessing the Amazon Alexa app through the web or by downloading the app on your phone.

Watching The Ring Doorbell On Your TV

Once you’ve connected, your Alexa with the ring cameras, just with a command you can watch it on your Fire TV. You can also use a smart voice remote or a paired-up Amazon Echo gadget with the Fire TV Stick or Fire TV. After that, all you have to do is say the latter command.

“Alexa, show the front door.”

Simply replace the front door with another connected camera or the name of the Ring Doorbell. Afterward, your TV will display the live video on your screen through the Ring video.

Alexa Commands For Ring Doorbell and Fire TV

Here are few commands for you to use-

  • Alexa, hide the front door.
  • Alexa, go home.
  • Alexa, pause.
  • Alexa, show the front door.
  • Alexa, play the latest event from the front door.

Not only that, but you can also talk to the visitors on the Ring camera through your Amazon Echo Device.

Note: Once you’ve viewed the live video on your TV, the ring doorbell will indicate a stable blue ring light. Your doorbell will last like this for nearly 10 minutes till the light turns off. However, during this period, the press action of your doorbell will not function. After 10 minutes, it will start to function again.

Ring Doorbell With Echo Spot or Echo Show

Your ring doorbell perfectly pairs with the Echo Spot or Echo Show. With the commands listed above, you can watch the live motion event or feeds easily, on your Fire TV. However, you can also use some additional commands with the Echo Spot or Show. Here are some of them-

  • Alexa, talk to the front door.
  • Alexa, answer the front door.

These two commands will let you view the video and communicate through your doorbell camera. If you set this up, you can respond to the Ring Doorbell with your Echo Spot or Show. This will let you have a 2-way interaction with the visitor at your door.

Also with a recent update, your amazon Alexa devices will automatically show you the doorbell video, when someone presses it. This makes the device much better and convenient.
