How You Can Use A Travel Router With Your Chromecast?
Most hotels provide you with a Wi-Fi connection, however, it is possible that it might not connect with your Chromecast. Most of the time, if you want to use their Wi-Fi, they have a two-step verification process, Chromecast is not compatible with these kinds of Wi-Fi connections.
To solve this problem, you can get a travel router. Travel router connects with an ethernet wiring and creates a mini Wi-Fi connection of its own, in your hotel room. Then you can connect the Chromecast with the travel router. It will let you connect several devices with the hotel’s internet, and you won’t even have to pay additional charges for that.

The guest mode in Chromecast lets your family and friends share content from their devices. This feature works with almost all types of devices such as tablets and phones. However, your Chromecast might not support some of the Apple apps.
It is not necessary for your guest to connect their device with your Wi-fi, however, as a host, your tablet or phone should be connected with the same Wi-Fi as your Chromecast.
